For the past few years, we've joined our best friends and neighbors here in Bloomington in participating in a Progressive Dinner between our homes. The first two years were organized and elaborate and lots of fun.
Last year we ended up just having pizza and dessert and several of us dozed off before 10pm but it was still fun.
This year, we decided to put it off until January (when life isn't so crazy and we might actually enjoy cooking) and just go to our new favorite restaurant Destihl. That's even more fun since we didn't have to cook and clean!
The food was delicious and the wine and beer flowed freely...you can tell that from the photos.
Unfortunately our evening was cut a little short (after cheesecake and Irish coffee and Austrian wine at Dave and Barbara's) with an SOS from a sick kid. Hopefully, Nicholas is feeling better this morning and everyone will stay healthy for the holidays!
Oh, and if you're wondering why there aren't any photos of the guys...well, they were in attendance but they're just not as cute as we are :-)
