Let's hear it for 2009!

January is not my favorite month of the year...have I mentioned that before? However, we generally do manage to throw a pretty decent New Year's Eve party every year and this year I believe we topped them all.

Was it the party guests? Of course. The Italian beef? Maybe. The Lemon Drop Martinis? Ok, maybe the riotous good time was due to the copious amounts of sticky sweet and sour martinis.

However, the real highlight of the evening was American Idol for Wii. Players can design their own "Mii" (mine had red hair and wore a naughty Catholic school girl uniform...go figure) and then sing along to pop tunes. BIG FUN especially when coupled with Lemon Drop Martinis.

Wish I could download the video of Jeff and Jayne singing along with Michael Jackson but you'll just have to picture it in your mind...while covering your ears! Here is just a little visual taste of the evening's festivities.
