June 21st was the longest day of the year...

and not just because of the Spring Solstice!

We left Folly Beach at 6am Eastern time (that's 5am Central) yesterday morning and rolled into the driveway at 10:30pm Central time last night. That's over 17 hours of travel time including stops for meals and gas! We lost more than an hour due to a huge traffic jam just north of Knoxville, and came home via Nashville. Other than that it was a near perfect trip!

I'll be posting more pics soon but here is our group shot, taken at the very tip of Folly Island looking out towards the Morris Island Lighthouse. I miss the salty air already.
